Volunteers:
The Mothers’ Milk Bank at Austin relies on volunteers to help accomplish its mission. Volunteer breastmilk donors are women who are lactating and have given birth within the last year. These volunteers are breastfeeding moms as well as bereaved mothers.

It also welcomes volunteers to help us with milk processing.

The Mothers’ Milk Bank at Austin also accepts financial donations for research and charitable care, which ensures that donor human milk is available to all babies with a medical need, regardless of a family’s ability to pay.

The Executive Director of the Mothers’ Milk Bank at Austin, Kim Updegrove, is also current president of the Human Milk Banking Association of North America.
